Welcome to the Evansdale Trailhead! If you're coming from Cedar Rapids you've come a long way! This is the starting point of the Black Hawk County portion of the Trail. This area is paved and the paved trail continues until the McFarlane trailhead.

(Left) We have a small shelter setup here. Feel free to use it. (Right) Evansdale maintains a trail that runs through town.

The first thing you see when you get on the trail, the Cedar River! You'll run into it again shortly after the McFarlane trailhead.
