Over the years we have had a lot of fun with this. This is by far the biggest event that we host each year and it keeps getting bigger and better. Our theme this year will be Monsters in McFarlane! Beware because you never know what monsters will appear! The frightful event will take place on September 19th-21st during the Autumnal Equinox when night begins it reign over the day. We have a lot going on that weekend including a a campsite decorating contest, a costume contest for adults as well as a separate contest for 12-under. We'll be doing, a potluck, movies and popcorn, pumpkin carving, apple dunking, trick or treating , and it goes with out saying the adventure ride. The ride usually starts around 7:00-7:30 and completes around 10:00-11:00 We will also be handling the  reservations the same way as last year. The entire campground will be available for reservations In the past some to guarantee a spot some have had to come a week early. This puts a strain on some people's budgets as they would have to pay for that entire week. This will hopefully make it equitable for everyone. Registration will include $30 for two nights of camping plus a $15 reservation fee totaling $45 per unit registered. Tent camping without electricity will not be restricted. We finished the new shelter last year and it will again be used for the event.
