McFarlane Rates:
Regular Camping Rates: The campground operates on a first come first serve basis. If you would like to guarantee a spot on a certain date we encourage you to make a reservation. If you plan to camp on busy weekends such as the Fish Fry/Hog Roast, Halloween campout, or holiday weekends we encourage you to make your reservation early to guarantee a spot for that time.
With Electricity: $17.00 per night
Without Electricity: $13.00 per night
Wolf Creek Cabin (A $100 deposit is required to use the cabin to protect the furnishings we have inside it. The deposit will be returned to you following your stay providing the checklist guidelines are met). Please review the checklist guidelines before renting the cabin. *Note: To book a night for the cabin please call Black Hawk County Conservation Board's Headquarters at (319)266-6813 8:00-4:30 M-F If you plan to use the cabin on busy weekends such as the Fish Fry/Hog Roast, Halloween Campout, or on holiday weekends we encourage you to book it early to guarantee use of the cabin for that time.
1 Night: $35.00
With Electricity: $17.00 per night.
Without Electricity: $13.00 per night
Organized Youth Groups: $15 for entire area. Plus $4 per night for electric

*There
are two ways to make a reservation.
1. Go to http://www.mycountyparks.com/Facility/Default.aspx to make a reservation online. You can make a reservation for any Black Hawk County park and may other county parks as well.
2. Call Black Hawk County Conservation Board Headquarters at (319)433-7275 8-4:30 M-F, and tell them you would like to make a reservation in McFarlane park, the date(s), and what specifically you would like to reserve. It is recommended that on busy weekends i.e. the Halloween Campout, Fish Fry/Hog Roast, and other holiday weekends that you make a reservation to guarantee a spot.
Campsite Reservations: (This is only if want us to hold a spot for you before you arrive. Otherwise you can pay the regular camping rates but spots are on a first come-first serve basis.)
There
is no fee to use the shelter but if you want it it reserved then you will have
to pay the reservation fee ($55.00 a day.)
